Known Issues - Squish 6.4.0 Release¶
Known Issues and Workarounds:
The graphic Object Map Editor can become slow on very large maps of script-based object names. Performance improvements are being worked on for the following release.
Perl under Windows: The Perl version we ship with Squish does not fully support Unicode, therefore make sure the paths to your test suites and source locations do not contain Unicode.
The testData.dataset() function cannot handle empty cells in .xlsx files. A bugfix is available upon request.
The conversion from Text-Based to Script-Based Object Map will crash/hang on Text-Based Object Maps that contain a lot of very similar names.
The Bitdefender Anti Virus software is known to cause the Squish installation program to fail in some configurations. The symptom of this issue is that an error message is shown during Squish installation which says "Cannot extract licensekeytool.exe to: ... The installation will be terminated". To work around this issue, please disable the Bitdefender Anti Virus software for the duration of the Squish installation.
