Copy and paste¶
You can select/mark, copy and paste text in cmd.exe windows by using the system menu:

QuickEdit mode for simpler copy & paste¶
To make copy & paste with cmd.exe windows easier you can enable the "QuickEdit Mode" in the properties:

Check the "QuickEdit Mode":

Choose "Save properties for future windows with same title" and click OK

Now you can select/mark with the left mouse button pressed and dragging the mouse (like a rubber band):

To copy the selected text to the clipboard press Return/Enter or press the right mouse button.
To paste text from the clipboard to the cmd.exe window press the right mouse button inside the cmd.exe window.
