Squish IDE startup issues when using Kaspersky Anti-virus software

Some customers have reported problems starting the IDE while using Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010

What happens is that the IDE starts and then freezes when displaying the froglogic splash screen. In some cases this is caused by Kaspersky Anti-Virus.

To solve the problem permanently, add the following list of applications to the Kaspersky Anti-Virus’s list of trusted applications:

A workaround is to kill the _squishmonitor.exe process. The IDE should then start.
