Introduction¶
Squish for Web allows picking objects (see Picking and inspecting objects ).
There is one caveat though: Picking objects with the left mouse button will pick the object and trigger the left mouse button click action of the respective object (if it does have one).
Solution #1 - Pick with right mouse button¶
A simple workaround to this is to perform a right mouse button click to pick the desired object.
Solution #2 - Pick container object and drill down in Application Objects view¶
Another solution is to pick slightly (or a good bit more) to the left, right, top or bottom of the desired object to pick the object which contains the actual object that you want to pick. Then you can expand the nodes in the Application Objects view to locate the actual object which you are interested in.
